Ruth Lea Minetree, age 53, of Florence, died Saturday, May 12, 2012. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 18, at Highland Baptist Church, at 10 am. Bro. John Brock will be officiating.

Ms. Minetree was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She was an international public health worker.

Survivors include her parents, Dr. Thomas A. Minetree and Virginia McClanahan Minetree; daughter, Olivia Fanizza; brothers, Thomas A. Minetree II and Andrew Minetree; sisters, Virginia Minetree, Malisa Minetree, and Nicole Dill.
